Edit Bundles and Bundle Groups

Bundles are a type of discount in Brink Commerce. This guide will walk you through editing existing bundles and bundle groups.
This guide will show you how to:

- Update individual Bundles
- Add Bundles to existing Bundle groups
Introduction
Bundles are a type of discount in Brink Commerce where related products are grouped together, and a discount is applied to the bundle. Each bundle is part of a Bundle Group, which organizes bundles and manages general settings like active channels and time periods. This guide will walk you through editing existing bundles and bundle groups.

Steps to Edit Bundle Groups and Bundles
1. Navigate to Bundle Groups
- Go to Discounts and select Bundle Groups.
2. Search for the Bundle Group
- Use the search field to locate the Bundle Group you wish to edit (or add a new bundle to).
- Click on the Bundle Group to access its settings.

3. General Settings Tab
- On the General Settings tab, you can modify:
- Name of the bundle group.
- Active Time Period (Optional): Set or adjust the time frame when the bundle group will be active.
- After making changes, click Save in the top right corner.

4. Channels Tab
- To adjust where the bundle group is active, go to the Channels tab at the top of the page.
- Define the channels by specifying:
- Store Group: Select the store group for the bundle.
- Store Markets: Choose specific markets within the store group.
- Once you’ve defined the channels, click Save in the top right corner.

5. Bundles Tab
- Go to the Bundles tab at the top of the page.
- Here, you can add new bundles or view existing bundles within the Bundle Group.
- Expand and Edit a Bundle
- To edit a specific bundle, click the chevron next to the bundle to expand its information.
- Click the Edit Bundle button to begin editing. This opens the bundle in draft mode.

6. Modify or Delete Item Rules
- In the draft, click on the item rule you want to edit. A new dialog will appear.
- To delete the item rule, click Remove in the top right corner of the dialog.
- To edit the item rule, adjust the following settings:
- Exclude Discounted Prices: Select this to prevent applying multiple discounts to products already on sale.
- Exclude Full Prices: Select this if you want to exclude products not currently discounted.
- Number of Items: Specify the number of items that must be in the cart for the bundle discount to activate.
- Select Products for the Bundle
- Choose the products to include in the rule:
- Product Parents: Select individual product parents (e.g., a T-shirt with size variants).
- Categories via Tags: Use tags to include specific categories of products.
- Combination and Exclusions: You can combine individual products and categories, and exclude certain categories using tags if necessary.
- Choose the products to include in the rule:
- Once you’ve made your selections, click Update in the top right corner of the dialog.

7. Choose Discount Type
- Below the item rules, select the type of discount to apply:
- Percentage: Enter the percentage to discount the bundle.
- Fixed Amount: Set a fixed amount for each active currency by entering the amount in minor units (e.g., 10000 for DKK 100.00).
- After adjusting the discount, click Update Bundle.
- You will return to the Bundles tab. Click Save in the top right corner to apply all updates.
