We’ve been hard at work making Brink Commerce even better for you. This month, we’re excited to introduce new features, improvements, and important fixes that will help you run your business more efficiently and provide an even smoother experience for your customers.

New Features

Custom Shipping Tags

As part of our comprehensive discount engine, merchants can now set custom shipping tags that will be sent to shipping providers. This enables tailored shipping options, such as Free Express Shipping, based on a set of customizable criteria.

API Event Filtering

Previously, all events were sent to all API destinations. Now, you can filter events per destination, ensuring greater efficiency when managing integrations.

Avarda Default Shipping

A default shipping option is now available for Avarda, streamlining the checkout experience for shoppers.

Improvements to Existing Features

Merchant Portal: Order Management (OM) Compensation Redesign

• Redesigned from an order line perspective for better clarity.
• Easily add discounts to one or multiple order lines.
• Support for decimal values in cart rules, making pricing adjustments more precise.

Integrations: Retain24 Enhancements

• Gift Card Expiration: Reservation expiration time is now set to 60 days.
• Checkout Balance Updates: Return gift card balance at checkout for a smoother payment process.

Bug Fixes Order Management Fixes

• Delivery: Corrected incorrect amounts on delivery drafts.
• Import: Imported orders with a quantity of 0 will now have the correct status of “compensated.”
• Cancel Orders: Resolved an issue preventing order cancellations from being restarted.
• Product Modifications: Products can now be added even if stock validation is turned off.
